About AEI Corp
What does AEI Corporation do?
AEI Corp — Accessible Engineering Innovation Corporation Pvt Ltd — is an engineering services firm working in industrial automation, industrial IoT and embedded systems. We integrate and port real-time Ethernet protocol stacks, design industrial devices and the firmware that runs them, retrofit installed plant for Industry 4.0, and keep long-lived products shippable as their components go end-of-life. Our customers are device manufacturers, machine builders, silicon vendors and plant operators, mostly in Europe, North America and Israel.
The name states the intent. Advanced engineering that a customer cannot adopt, maintain or afford is not much use to them, so we measure ourselves on what survives contact with a real plant floor rather than on what looks impressive in a proposal.
Why do companies bring us in?
Almost always for depth they need occasionally but not permanently. A protocol certification cycle, a driver for one awkward peripheral, a stack port to new silicon, a plant retrofit: each needs a specialism that is expensive to keep on staff and idle most of the year. We carry those specialisms so our customers do not have to, and we hand over the build systems and documentation so they are not tied to us afterwards.
How do we work with customers?
In the open, and in stages. Engagements start small enough to be judged on a result rather than a promise, with the scope, the interfaces and the acceptance tests agreed before anyone writes code. The how we engage page sets out the steps in detail.
How we work
Advanced technology is only worth anything when the people who have to run it can actually adopt it. Four principles shape every engagement.
Accessible, effective engineering
Solutions sized to the problem, never padded to impress: complete, dependable, affordable to run and open to change later. We work out what the stakeholder actually needs before writing any code.
Enduring relationships
Sustained partnerships with customers and suppliers, earned through quality delivery, fair dealing and demonstrated expertise rather than lock-in.
Sight on the future
We keep learning the next standard before customers have to ask for it, and we widen what we can take on, industry by industry, rather than all at once.
Social responsibility
A socially conscious culture that supports our people and our communities, bringing technology within reach of indigenous industries and underserved markets.
Life at AEI
We are a small firm doing specialist work, which shapes everything about how it feels to work here.
You own the thing you build
Teams are small enough that an engineer owns a subsystem outright, from the datasheet to the customer call. Nobody here is three layers away from the person using their code.

Diversity drives innovation
Guidelines over rulebooks. Decisions sit with the team doing the work, which is how a good idea from a six-month engineer reaches a customer without waiting for permission.

Nobody is the only one who knows
Specialist work goes bad when it lives in one head. Reviews, pairing on bring-up and written handovers are how we keep depth without building single points of failure.

Learning is billable time
New standards land constantly in this field, and reading one is work, not a hobby. Engineers here pick up the next protocol or silicon family before a customer asks for it.

Giving back
We work with universities and volunteer in social welfare, and we hire from both. It is also how most of our engineers first met the company.
